Rivers Christian College will be the sixteenth school operated by Christian Community Ministries (CCM).

The College was established to meet a long-held desire from Christians in the region for a local Christian school, and the CCM Board’s conviction that a town the size of Inverell deserves to have one. It will be the second CCM school located in New South Wales.

 

After a lengthy development and accreditation process, CCM’s application for a 2026 commencement is currently awaiting the endorsement of the NSW Education Minister, following a recommendation for approval by the New South Wales Education Authority (NESA).

 

Rivers Christian College will begin by enrolling students from Kindergarten to Year 4, with plans to add one year level annually until it reaches a full K–12 cohort by 2034.
